Hi, I’m Holly J. Compton—author, teacher, and missionary at heart.

For more than three decades, I’ve served and taught across nations and cultures, and today my husband, Alex, and I lead Amor Real Ministries and Pat’s Place in Lima, Peru. My passion is helping new and growing believers experience the transforming love of Jesus in everyday life—one choice at a time.

Suggested honorarium

I aim to serve churches and ministries with flexibility while honoring the time required to prepare, travel, and pour into your people. Honorariums vary based on event format, number of sessions, and travel.

Suggested honorarium ranges (USD):

  • Single session / keynote: $500–$800
  • One-day event (2 sessions): $800–$1,200
  • Weekend retreat (2–4 sessions): $1,500–$2,000

Travel + lodging are typically covered separately (airfare/mileage, hotel, ground transportation, and meals as needed).

If your ministry has budget constraints, I’m happy to discuss options.

Hosting details (what I typically need)

  • Clear schedule (session times, soundcheck, and book table timing)
  • Basic A/V (handheld or headset mic preferred; confidence monitor helpful but not required)
  • A dedicated point person for the weekend/event
  • Hotel room (private) when travel requires overnight stay
  • Honorarium details confirmed in writing in advance, with payment available on arrival when possible
