Amor Real Ministries (ARMS) was founded in 2016 by Alex and Holly Compton for the sole purpose of establishing a ministry in Peru, where they lived as missionaries from 2007 to 2008. Having ministered there since 2004, Alex and Holly answered the call to further the cause of Pat’s Place, a home for abused women and their children who seek refuge and new beginnings for their lives. While continuing its devotion to Pat’s Place, Amor Real Ministries has broadened its scope to include missions in nations outside of Peru.
According to 1 Corinthians 13, we are instructed to love extravagantly in every relationship, every situation, every endeavor. Love is an action verb and not just a feeling, and we believe that to be the purpose of Amor Real. We invite you to join us in actively loving and serving those in need across the globe.
