Amor Real Ministries (ARMS) is a Christian missions organization founded by Alex and Holly Compton in 2016 to share the love of Christ through discipleship, missions, and compassionate outreach in Peru and around the world.
Our Story
Alex and Holly began ministering together in Peru in 2004 and then lived as missionaries there from 2007 to 2008. In 2006 they helped open Pat’s Place, a home for abused women and their children who seek refuge and new beginnings for their lives.
In 2016, ARMS was established to champion the cause of Pat’s Place and to serve the people of Peru. While continuing its devotion to Pat’s Place, ARMS has broadened its scope to include missions in nations outside of Peru.
Our Mission Today
According to 1 Corinthians 13, we are instructed to love extravagantly in every relationship, every situation, every endeavor. Love is an action verb and not just a feeling, and we believe that to be the purpose of Amor Real. We invite you to join us in actively loving and serving those in need across the globe.
